ABOUT · CRAFTSMANSHIP

Two cities, one fragrance

Every composition in our collection begins as an idea in Florence, and becomes a fragrance in Grasse. A story of vision and craft, told across two of Europe's great perfume cities.

Florence: the creative vision

Our fragrances are composed by Sileno Cheloni, a Florence-based master perfumer trained in traditional Renaissance perfumery techniques. Cheloni founded Aquaflor Firenze before establishing his own atelier and Profumoir, and has created signature scents for names including Gucci, Harrods, Lamborghini, Baglioni Hotels & Resorts and IWC Schaffhausen.

His method starts before a single ingredient is chosen: each composition begins from a memory, an emotion or an idea, and the raw materials are selected afterward, in service of that feeling. Read the full profile on our blog.

Grasse: where it’s made

Once a composition is finalised, it’s produced in Grasse, France, the historic capital of perfumery, and still home to the ingredient houses and technical expertise that turn a formula into a consistent, scalable fragrance.

Every batch is hypoallergenic and backed by a safety data sheet (MSDS) compliant with CLP/REACH regulation, the same rigour whether you’re choosing a ready-made scent or commissioning a fully bespoke composition.

Frequently asked questions
